McAllen Memorial High's Advanced Placement Program

Congratulations to MHS for receiving a 2009 Inspiration Award Honorable Mention from the College Board--one of five in the entire U.S.A.!!

ATTENTION: McALLEN ISD STUDENTS AND PARENTS: LEARN HOW OUR STUDENTS CAN EARN FREE COLLEGE CREDIT!!

Advanced Placement Classes @ McAllen Memorial High Allow Students To. . .

  • get free college credit.

  • have rigor and be truly prepared for college.

  • focus on classes they are strong in, such as science or math. (Memorial has rigorous College Prep classes that students can drop down to if they struggle in that core subject.)

  • participate in extra-curricular activities like sports, music, debate and others because they take all classes on Memorial’s campus: all day for all classes.

  • Ask your school counselor about how to sign up for Advanced Placement!

For more information contact Rachelle Grace, AP Program Chair, or Debbie Pace, the AP Testing Coordinator at MHS, by e-mail or by phone at (956) 632-5201 (main office).
