    Mr. Todd S. Kettelkamp (History)


    I studied History at Blinn College, Texas A&M, and the University of Houston before graduating from the University of Texas-Pan American after serving almost 8 years in the US Navy. Majored in History with minors in Political Science and English.

    Currently working with Region One on a U.S. History grant (Project PASST) while pursuing a Master's in History.
    Love to teach history, but will ride a bike any day not in class.

    Mrs. Linda S. Rosales (Economics)


    I graduated from McAllen High School, in 1972, attended Texas A & I in Kingsville for one year and graduated from Pan American University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Business Adminstration Degree. I worked with Texas Employment Commission as an unemployment claims interviewer until 1983. I was laid off from work due to trickling down economics during the Regan administration, and started teaching at McAllen Memorial High School in 1984. I have taught at Memorial for 24 years and have sponsored many programs such as: Larriate Director, Drill team Director, MAST Coordinator and member, DECA assistant, Career Fair project, Senior Sponsor-Prom coordinator, and No Siesta Fiesta helper.

    Philosophy of teaching: My own children have been my inspiration in teaching. In preparing a lesson, I imagine that my three children are sitting in the front row and center. As I accept the challenge of the versatility in characters, backgrounds, and learning abilities, I present every lesson with enthusiasm and offer knowledge that will allow their minds to open and be receptive so that they can be successful in the business realm. Knowledge, skills, and attitude to make future career decisions are the invaluable components that every child needs to be part of the big pictures. So, as I walk into the classroom every day, my three kiddos still sit front row and center.
